Jason Diab

Clinical Director & Senior Podiatrist

Jason is the senior podiatrist having graduated with a Bachelor of Podiatry from Latrobe University in 2004. He has clinical excellence in all aspects of podiatry including biomechanics, sports injuries, paediatrics, general and diabetic foot care and assessments.

Jason is committed to continuing his education and is a fully accredited and active member of the Australian Podiatry Association.

Having worked and been involved with football at Olympic, AFL, VFL and local levels he combines knowledge and wealth of experience to provide the best care to his sports clients.

With his professionalism, enthusiasm and humourous nature, Jason is determined to help ‘Keeping people on their feet’

Cagla Ekinci

Cagla qualified with a Bachelor of Podiatry (BPod) from Latrobe University in 2011. After completing her clinical placements at Coburg Podiatry she was directly recruited straight after to join our team. Her areas of speciality include arthritis, orthotic and footwear therapy to treat acute and chronic lower limb injuries and alter biomechanics to help maximise movement and minimise pain, whether it’s for sport, rehabilitation or just to keep you moving.

Her multilingual language makes her a great asset to Coburg Podiatry. In her spare time, Cagla enjoys exercising, shopping and interacting with her peers. Being a new mum she juggles motherhood and podiatry with her gentle nature and excellent diagnoses.

Jacinta O’Shea

Jacinta completed her podiatry degree at Latrobe university in 2011, having studied for 5 years. Currently working in the nursing sector for 15 years, she combines her experience and interests in nursing homes, haematology and oncology to service our clients need.

Jacinta is also a member of the Australian Podiatry Association and values continuing professional development. She is dedicated and experienced in the comprehensive provision of general and diabetic foot care, orthotic therapy, nail surgery, and geriatric foot care.

Her caring and witty nature makes her a great asset to our talented team.

David Jayapaul

David graduated from La Trobe University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Podiatric practice. His specialty areas include minor surgical procedures such as ingrown toenails and wart removal, heel pain (plantar fasciitis), flat feet, custom foot orthotics, foot and ankle sports injuries, diabetic foot care and children’s foot and walking problems.

David has completed a number of advanced certificates including neuromuscular dry needling and ulcer wound management and prevention.
David grew up in country Victoria and moved to Melbourne to finish his higher education. Throughout his life David has been involved in a variety of sports taking a special interest in Basketball and Football. His love of travelling, food and culture always makes a great conversational experience for our clients.

Philip Norman

Phil is a late comer to podiatry after graduating from Latrobe university in 2015 with a BHSc.MA.Pod. He is pleased to be able to balance part time podiatry practice with part-time zoo keeping at Melbourne Zoo.

He enjoys working in all aspects of podiatry. He has particular interest in diabetic foot care, gerontology, and sports medicine. He is a member of Australian Podiatry Association and Sports Medicine Australia.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family. He is an active member and volunteer at Brunswick athletics club and Fitzroy junior football club. His daughter’s passion for ballet has given him insight into some of the challenges that can arise in dances feet.

Angela Tsoumanis

Angela Tsoumanis graduated from her Bachelor of Podiatry in 2004. Having worked in community and private health sectors in both the UK and Australia her scope of podiatry practice is exceptional. Angela’s areas of speciality include arthritis, children’s leg and foot issues, heel pain and diabetes foot care.

Fluent in Greek, she provides a wealth of knowledge to the Coburg Podiatry team. Outside of work, Angela is an avid traveller and loves spending time with her family. Her love for the Hawthorn football club is a conversation worth talking about.

Paul Stephanatos

Paul is the newest member of the Coburg Podiatry team. He graduated in 2017 from La Trobe University with a Bachelor of Health Science and a Masters of Podiatric Practice. Paul is skilled in Diabetes Assessments and has an interest in biomechanics and surgical podiatry. Paul also speaks fluent Greek.

Outside of podiatry, Paul enjoys fishing, golf and a good coffee. He is also passionate about the Hawthorn Football Club.

Meray Diab: Receptionist

Meray has many years experience in the medical administration and customer service industries. She has a strong passion for people and ensuring they feel happy and cared for when they visit the clinic. With her smiles and enjoyable conversations Meray recognises that communication is a pivotal part of our interaction and can fluently speak Arabic. In her free time, she enjoys travelling, sports and spending time with her family!

Denise El-Nabbout: Receptionist

Denise is a highly motivated individual who has strong communication skills. She is constantly caring about the wellbeing of our patients and clients needs. A leader and a solid team player, Denise will always greet you with a big warm smile.
